Vanessa Hudgens, from High School Musical to sex symbol

Vanessa Hudgens is famous for her role as Gabriella Montez in High School Musical, a Disney Channel Original Movie able to collect a global success.

Vanessa has also appeared in many television series including Quintuplets and Still Standing. In 2009 gets critical acclaim for her role in the film Bandslam. Along with the career as actress, Hudgens released her debut album V on Sept. 26, 2006, entering the Billboard 200 at the 24th position, getting the disc gold. Her second album, Identified, is published on 1 July 2008 in the United States.

She was born in California from American father with Irish and Native American origins, Greg Hudgens, and from mother originally from Manila, Gina Guangco. Growing up in San Diego (California), she has a younger sister, Stella. Vanessa began her career early in a commercial. At the age of eight years she starred in the musical The Wizard of Oz in which she starred as a Munchkin. All of her grandparents were musicians during the period of Big Band.

The role for which Vanessa Hudgens is so well-known is that of the timid Gabriella Montez in High School Musical. The film has been a huge success and in 2006, the same year was launched, won an award with Zac Efron, who plays Troy Bolton at the Teen Choice Award.

After the film, she attended the High School Musical Concert along with other star Ashley Tisdale, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel and Monique Coleman. Efron did not participate, as busy forhis new film Hairspray. This has created controversy since was thought that Efron had been completely replaced by singer Drew Seeley, when in fact, in the first film, their voices were mixed together.

But Vanessa did also other interpretations, as some we have said, and in 2015 made his Broadway debut with the musical Gigi along with Victoria Clark, Howard McGillin and Dee Hoty. Today she is considered one of the most famous actresses and the world’s sexiest.
