Taylor Momsen is best known for her role as Jenny Humphrey in the television series Gossip Girl. She is part of the rock band The Pretty Reckless (of which she is a singer and guitarist and founder), for which she earned a contract with Interscope Records.
Since 2007 she plays the character of Jenny Humphrey, “Little J“, in the television series Gossip Girl, which is based on the book series by Cecily von Ziegesar. Momsen, thanks to the series of international renown, has become famous all over the world. After the fourth season of Gossip Girl, she leaves the cast as the character of Jenny Humphrey had already been discovered at the bottom, more because Momsen wanted to devote herself more to music and her band, The Pretty Reckless. She will always return the cast during the sixth season.
In 2010 she released their first EP of the rock band The Pretty Reckless, where Momsen is the lead singer and leader of the group; a few months later it launched their debut album Light Me Up. From it are three singles: the first is Make Me Wanna Die, the second Miss Nothing and the third Just Tonight. In 2011 it is also distributed the video clip of My medicine and in 2012 the one of You. In the same year she released her second EP, Hit Me Like a Man, containing 3 and 2 unreleased live versions of songs on Light Me Up (specifically Make Me Wanna Die and Since You’re Gone). After nearly three years on the road, the band decided to take a year off. In 2013, The Pretty Reckless have announced that in March of 2014 will be released the second album Going To Hell, preceded by the first single of the same name released on September 28 with its video. The single entered the TOP 10 in the Rock category in many countries. Meanwhile the band goes on tour in the US and Canada between late September and late November to promote their new Going To Hell Tour, which has been very successful both from an economic point of view critical. On 19 November, after the US and Canadian tour, the band released the second single from the new album Going To Hell, Heaven Knows. The song immediately enters on the TOP 10 of iTunes in USA and Canada in third place.
