Stacey Solomon was born October 9, 1989 in Dagenham, Essex, England. She is a singer was well known in 2009 by the British Castingshow The X Factor.
Solomon grew up in a Jewish family and lived with her siblings Jemma and Matthew after the divorce of her parents. At the age of 17, she was pregnant by her boyfriend at that time. For this reason, she was awarded the 2011 Celebrity Mother of the Year award. In the spring of that year, she published her autobiography Stacey: My Story So Far, where she concentrated on her early motherhood.
In her audition for the Castingshow The X Factor, she sang the title What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong and reaped positive reactions from all the jury members. The show ended it as third place behind Joe McElderry and Olly Murs. Then she went on tour with the other finalists through the UK. 2010 she took to the reality show I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
She was the winner of I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! and was the third woman to win this show. In January 2011, she announced she wanted to focus on her solo career.
Her debut single, a cover of Driving Home for Christmas, was released on 19 December 2011. Solomon released her debut album Shy on 18 April 2015, followed by the single Shy.
In September 2016, she began appearing as a panellist on Loose Women and in November of the same year she began presenting I’m a Celebrity ITV2 spin-off show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!: Extra Camp alongside partner Joe Swash, Vicky Pattison and Chris Ramsey.
