The real Sarah Connor‘s name is Sarah Lewe and her surname derives from the well-known character of the movie series Terminator by James Cameron.
Born in Germany from father of American origin and mother of Irish descent, from a young age is a passionate of soul, thanks to the paternal grandfather was born in New Orleans. She sings in the gospel choir of the church and participates in many school musical. In subsequent years, she sent several demos to various record companies, under the pseudonym “Sarah Grey”. In 2001 she received a contract with Sony Music, acquiring finally the stage name Sarah Connor.
Sarah Connor has released her first single, Let’s get back to bed – Boy!, with the production and collaboration of rapper TQ: the song entered directly in the first places of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, then also in the top 20 English. The singer was awarded a gold record in Germany, plus the tv musical Viva has assigned the “Comet” award for best new artist. She later released the single French kissing, with a track sampling No diggity of Blackstreet. In 2002 she released her second album Unbelievable, preceded by the single One nite stand (of wolves and sheep) which is attended by Wyclef Jean. The next single is the ballad written by Diane Warren Skin on skin, He’s unbelievable and Bounce.
In 2003, preceded by the single Music is the key, she released her discreetly album Key to My Soul. It was later released the single Just One Last Dance that sees duet with Marc Terenzi, voice of the boy band Natural and her future husband. The duet was No. 1 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In early 2004 she recorded albums Sarah Connor and Bounce collecting pieces of the three previous works: the first was published in the United States, the second in Japan. In full promotion of these albums, the Connor discovered to be pregnant by Marc Terenzi (married in February) and, at the end of 2004, Tyler was born, their first child.
Her fourth album is Naughty but nice, which includes the songs Living to Love You and From zero to hero who is also the soundtrack of the animated film Robots.
In 2005 Sarah Connor with her husband was in the Sarah and Marc in love, reality show about their married life: Marc Terenzi for the occasion also became a solo singer, dedicating to Sarah the song Love to loved by you. In December 2005, Connor released a Christmas album titled Christmas in My Heart.
In June 2006 she became mother for the second time of the small Summer Antonia Soraya. In March 2007 she released the album Soulicious preceded by the single The Impossible Dream (The Quest), cover of the eponymous song by Mitch Leigh wrote for the musical The Man of La Mancha. In 2007 she recorded a cover of Sexual Healing song as a duet with Ne-Yo. In late 2007, she embarked on the Coca Cola Christmas Tour in Germany who realized in two stages, with their most famous songs. March 21, 2008 was launched the commercial L’Oreal Studio Line Indestructible Volume Spray’s on German TV with the singer as its protagonist. The release of the new single Under My Skin was a trailblazer for her album of 2008 and was used as the theme song for the new reality show Terenzi-Connor couple, which was followed by the music videos of Marc and her sister (Marc Terenzi “Billie Jean” and Lulu “Crush On You”).
In November 2008 Sarah and Marc have officially announced their separation.
