Paula Patton is the main protagonist of Warcraft as Garona

Paula Patton is now on theaters with Warcraft – The Beginning, the movie inspired by the famous videogames series and directed by Duncan Jones, the David Bowie’s son that directed also Moon and Source Code. Paula plays the role of Garona, half woman and half orc.

She is the daughter of a teacher and a lawyer, the family has grown in the street where is located the headquarters of 20th Century Fox, and is therefore grown relishing the world of cinema. After studied at the Hamilton Arts Magnet High School and graduated from UC Berkeley and the University of Southern California. In those years she studied directing and made several short films in Super 8. Subsequently, the PBS offers her the opportunity to participate in the traveling show The Ride, with other boys in order to achieve various documentaries.

In 2000 she worked as assistant director for television series Medical Diaries, while her debut as actress is in the TV movie Murder Book by Antoine Fuqua. In 2008 she starred opposite Kiefer Sutherland in Mirrors and with Kevin Costner in Swing Vote, and is the protagonist of the comedy Jumping the Broom. In the fall of 2010 is announced her entry in the cast of NBC’s Law & Order, but after getting the lead female role in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, starring Tom Cruise, her participation in the series has been reduced to an episode, being replaced by Melissa Sagemiller.

From 2005 to 2015 she was married to the singer and musician Robin Thicke. The couple has a son named Julian Fuego Thicke, born April 6, 2010. Paula Patton has worked in the album of Usher 2004 Confessions, appearing as a vocalist in the song Can U Handle It? which her husband Robin Thicke co-wrote. Robin Thicke appeared naked on the cover of A Beautiful World, and participated in the video of Brand New Jones, Lost Without U and Love After War.
