Lindsay Ellingson was discovered by a talent scout almost by accident, after she had moved to San Diego to study biology. Her debut on the catwalks takes place during the parades of the pret-a-porter of the season spring / summer 2005. Lindsay Ellingson has indeed modeled for numerous brands including Shiatzy Chen, Blumarine, Chanel, Christian Dior, John Galliano, Gucci, Valentino, Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Zac Posen, Diane Von Furstenberg and Giorgio Armani. She was also a testimonial for Moschino, DKNY, MAC, Dolce & Gabbana, Charles David and H & M. Lindsay Ellingson appeared on international covers of Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle, D Magazine, GQ and L’Officiel and on the pages of Allure, Flair, V and iD.
She is the protagonist of the campaign for Tommy Hilfiger Fall / Winter 2008/2009 with Flavia Deoloveria, and Matthew Gordon photographed by Dewey Nicks. In 2015 was chosen as the testimonial of La Sposa, and launched her own lne of cosmetics, the Wander Beauty.
From 2011 to 2014 has been a Victoria’s Secret angel, but collaborates with the fashion house since 2007, when taking part in her first fashion show. Together with Emanuela de Paula were chosen as the testimonial for “Body by Victoria” by Victoria’s Secret alongside Alessandra Ambrosio and Marisa Miller, appearing also in the catalog of swimwear 2010 of the company.
In 2013 participates in the Victoria’a Secret Fashion Show with a costume entirely encrusted with Swarovski crystals and created with 3D printing. The garment has been created with a new technological process designed by the architect Bradley Rothenberg with leading 3D printing company Shapeways.
In November 2013 she is officially engaged to Sean Clayton, a former college football player and seller of medical equipment. The couple were married July 12, 2014 in an intimate ceremony held at The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina , in front of 100 guests.
