At the age of 14 Jessica Biel gets the part of Mary Camden, the second child of seven children, in 7th Heaven, a television series that depicts the life of a big and united family of a Protestant pastor. At 15 she recites in Ulee’s Gold, starring Peter Fonda, and in 1998 took part in the film I’ll Be Home for Christmas.
The actress decided to leave in 2001 7th Heaven and starred in Summer Catch (2001) and The Rules of Attraction (2002), films aimed at young audiences. In May of 2001 she appears in the music video of Aerosmith “Fly away from here.” In 2002 she became ambassador of L’Oreal, the cosmetics giant.
In 2003 she was chosen to play as the protagonist of the remake of the famous horror film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Since 2004 starred in Blade: Trinity and Stealth and in 2005 obtained secondary roles in Elizabethtown, Cellular and London. After Home of the Brave (2006), Jessica Biel returns to the big screen with the drama The Illusionist (2006) and the sci-fi action movie Next (2007), at the side, respectively, of Edward Norton and Nicolas Cage.
Afterwards will come roles as co-star in two comedies, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007), directed by Dennis Dugan and Easy Virtue (2008), directed by Stephan Elliott. In 2009, is one of the protagonists of the drama Powder Blue, where she plays a stripper and mother of a child in a coma; in the same year as the voice of the character Neera in the animated film Planet 51. The following year participates in the action movie A-Team, and between 2010 and 2011 is chosen among the protagonists of an exceptional cast, including Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx and Robert De Niro in the movies Valentine’s Day and New Year’s Eve.
In 2012 co-starring alongside Colin Farrell in the movie Total Recall, and Gerard Butler in Playing for Keeps, directed by Gabriele Muccino; in the same year back again as the protagonist in the horror-thriller The Tall Man, in the role of a mother whose child is kidnapped. In 2013 she is chosen among the protagonists of the film Hitchcock, with Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson.
In 2007 she started a relationship with pop singer Justin Timberlake. After a year of marriage the actress changed her last name to Timberlake, but keeping her in the professional field. The couple had their first child, Silas Randall, on April 11, 2015.
