Jaqueline Carvalho is a perfect example of what Brazil is best at producing. She is married to Murilo Endres, who is also a Brazilian volleyball player, and in 2013 she gave birth to their first child – son named Paulo Arthur and she plays in the role of spiker for Serviço Social da Indústria SP. She will play in Brazil at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
She is a vital part of her country’s legendary female volleyball team.
She won a gold medal in Beijing in 2008 and in London in 2012.
Jaqueline Carvalho’s career began in 1997 in Sport Club do Recife, playing both volleyball and basketball. In 1999 she was summoned for pre-junior world championship, where she ranks second. In the same year she began her career as a professional hired by the Associação Desportiva class NCB. In 2001 she won the world junior championship, also being chosen Most Valuable Player. In 2002 she was selected for the world championship at senior level, but is forced to skip the event because of a thrombosis in her hand, followed by several injuries that slow down her career.
In 2004, having won two editions of the Brazilian Superliga without being able to contribute, she is hired by the Rio de Janeiro Vôlei Clube; initially used as a reserve, in the course of the season she found the rhythm of the game and managed to win a starting spot. In the summer of 2005 she manages to make her debut for her country, winning the gold medal at the World Grand Prix, the South American Championship and the Grand Champions Cup. In the second season with the Rio de Janeiro club won her third Superliga. In the summer of 2006 again won the World Grand Prix and is a finalist in the World Championships, where she was awarded as the best take-up.
In season 2006-07 is engaged in the Italian Serie A1 from Giannino Pieralisi Volley, whose dispute the final of the championship. At the end of the season is positive at a doping control because of a cream against cellulite, so jumping part of the competition with the national team, but returning to the World Cup, where she won the silver medal. The next season playing in Spain in the CAV Murcia 2005 which won the Spanish Super Cup, the Queen’s Cup and the league. In the summer of 2008 again won the gold medal at the World Grand Prix, the gold medal to the Final Four Cup and especially the gold medal in the Games of the XXIX Olympiad. In the 2008-09 season back in Italy, hired by Robursport Volley Pesaro, which won the Italian Super Cup, Italian Cup and the league.
The next season is to play nell’Osasco Voleibol Clube, which won the Superliga and two consecutive editions of the South American club championship. In the summer of 2010 she won the silver medal at the World Grand Prix, where she was voted best forward, and the world championship. After a few months break due to a pregnancy and subsequent miscarriage, back on the field and win the South American club championship again. In late September is also part of the national team, she won the South American championship. A few weeks later she won the gold medal at the XVI Pan American Games without being able to take the field for most of the competition: during the first meeting of the group stage, against the Dominican Republic, in a game action violently beats her head against the head of a teammate, making up a small cervical fracture, which forces her to wear a neck brace for the next eight weeks and skip the upcoming World Cup. She won the silver medal at the World Grand Prix 2012 and the gold medal at the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London and the World Grand Prix 2014 and the bronze medal at the world championship in 2014.
In the 2014-15 season he was hired at the tournament started by the formation of the Minas Tênis Clube; with the national team in 2015 won the silver medal at the XVII Pan American Games. In the following season as the shirt of Serviço Social da Indústria SP; with the national team won for the seventh time the gold medal at the World Grand Prix.
