Ester Ledecka

Ester Ledecka won the gold medal in the super-G in alpine skiing and in the parallel giant slalom in snowboarding at the Pyeongchang Olympic Games 2018, making it the first woman in the history of the Winter Olympics to climb the highest step of the podium in two different disciplines in the same edition; before her only the Norwegians Thorleif Haug and Johan Grøttumsbråten had succeeded in this venture, both centering the combined cross country skiing and Nordic combined respectively at Chamonix-Mont-Blanc 1924 and at Sankt Moritz 1928
