Dafne Schippers

Dafne Schippers is a Dutch sprinter and multiplexer, twice the world champion of the 200 meters (2015 and 2017) and European record holder of the specialty. She also holds expected records, in the 100-meter high and long jump.

“I like to run. Preferably faster than anyone else on the planet” is her signature on the social networks.

Dafne Schippers was just 20 years old, and at the time she was a promising heptathlete (the female equivalent of the decathlon), able to close 12th his trial, and in sixth place with the Dutch 4×100 relay. It seems a lifetime gone, for this’ flying Dutchwoman (given the muscles), who with her splendid success on the 200 revives at least in part of that other orange myth, the immense Fanny Blankers-Cohen, who in post-war London and Olympic of 1948 she wrote her myth
