Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro, better known as Cristiano Ronaldo, is a Portuguese player, striker of Real Madrid and of the Portuguese national, of which he is captain. With the latter he graduated as champion of Europe in 2016.
He was born in Funchal, 5 February 1985.
Considered one of the best footballers of all time, is also one of the most prolific scorers in the history of football.
Over the course of his career he has dressed the jerseys of Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United and Real Madrid, winning a Portuguese Super Cup (2002), three English championships (2006-2007, 2007-2008, 2008-2009), a Cup of England ( 2003-2004), two English League Cups (2005-2006, 2008-2009), two English Supercups (2007, 2008), two Spanish Championships (2011-2012 and 2016-2017), two Spanish Cups (2010-2011) , 2013-2014), two Spanish Super Cups (2012 and 2017), four UEFA Champions League (2007-2008, 2013-2014, 2015-2016, 2016-2017), two UEFA Super Cups (2014, 2017) and four World Cups for FIFA clubs (2008, 2014, 2016, 2017).

It counts 147 appearances and 79 goals with the Lusitanian jersey, the first player both for the number of appearances and for the goals realized.
He has appeared continuously in the ranking of the Golden Ball since 2004, winning it five times (in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016 and 2017), an absolute record shared with Lionel Messi. He was also awarded the FIFA World Player of the Year award in 2008, UEFA Best Player in Europe in 2014, 2016 and 2017 and The Best FIFA Men’s Player in 2016 and 2017. He is also the Real Madrid player to have signed several goals (422) in all official competitions.
