Born in New Jersey, Christina Milian moved soon after with her family in Maryland, where only four years old began her career by participating in some commercials. In March of 2010 gives birth to a girl named Violet, she got from her husband The-Dream, already the father of three children, from whom she divorced in 2011.
In 1998 she worked in the television program of Disney Channel Movie Surfers, under the name Tina Flores. Following lends her voice to the animated film A Bug’s Life and gets a minor role in the comedy American Pie, as well as various appearances on TV series such as Charmed, Smart Guy and many others.
In 2002, she is the presenter of the MTV television show Wannabes. On the show she met director Joseph Kahn, who later will entrust a part in his film Torque; then recites in the film Love don’t cost a thing, Man of the House with Tommy Lee Jones, Be Cool and the horror movie Pulse with Kristen Bell and Ian Somerhalder.
In 2007, she guest starred in the episode “Action” of the seventh series of the show Smallville. Participates along with Christina Applegate, Eva Longoria and Ryan Seacrest at the video for Jessica Simpson A Pubblic Affair. In 2009, she is the lead actress of Bring It On: Fight to the Finish.
Regard her musical career, in 2000 participates in the song of Ja Rule Between Me & You, and after appears in a video of Mya and is co-author of Jennifer Lopez song Play, contained in her second album.
In 2001 she released her debut album that bears her name simply; the album, which Christina Milian is producer and co-author, includes collaborations with Ja Rule and Jermaine Dupri and is advanced by the single crackling AM to PM climbing the charts all over the world. The second single is the turbulent When You Look at Me. Later realizes Call Me Beep Me, soundtrack of the Disney series Kim Possible.
In 2004 she released her second album titled It’s About Time, presenting itself under a sexier light from the onset. The first single Dip It Low which is attended by Fabolous, while as second single is extracted the song Whatever U Want.
In 2006 she released her third album So Amazin’, preceded by the single Say I with the participation of Young Jeezy. The album has less international success than previous, and Milian has blamed her label, Island Records, guilty of not doing a proper promotion and for being too focused on the launch of the new pop star Rihanna. In the same year she released her first greatest hits compilation The Best of Christina Milian. On December 4, 2015 will release her new EP “4U“, available for pre-order on iTunes.
