Anja Rubik was born in Poland to veterinary parents, at the age of 5 she moved with her family to Greece, then later to Canada, South Africa, and France. Here, in Paris, she embarked on a modeling career during vacation periods and after graduation, she began working as a full-time model. Parents currently live in Poland.

In 2005 the style.com website mentions her as one of the new stars of international catwalks.
In 2008, Rubik became the face of the Chloé perfume advertising campaign, along with actresses Chloë Sevigny and Clémence Poésy. In April of the same year, the French Vogue magazine cites it as one of the new international top models.
In 2009 she becomes the new face of the Armani Code advertising campaign and continues to be requested on the catwalk by leading designers.
From 2009 to 2011, she appeared for Victoria’s Secret.
In 2010 she continues to parade for important designers all over the world and becomes the testimonial of Fendi, Lanvin, Gap, Giuseppe Zanotti, Equipment and Fall / Winter 2010.11 advertising campaigns of Fendi’s “Fan di Fendi” and “Close” by Gap. He also renews the contract as a testimonial for Chloé’s perfume.
