Ajla Tomljanović is a Croatian naturalized Australian tennis player.
In the Australian Open 2009, singles she was eliminated in the first round, while in the same year she won the tournament with Christina McHale defeating in the final with a score of 6-1, 2-6, 10-4 by Aleksandra Krunić and Sandra Zaniewska.
During the Open of France 2009 – Double girls played in partnership with Ana Bogdan, they were defeated by Martina Trevisan and Ksenia Kirillova, while in the single edition was defeated by Bianca Botto. In the US Open 2009 – Double Girls participated in partnership with Tímea Babos without success; and in the Open 2008 Open Singles Girls stopped singing on the third turn, defeating Gail Brodsky.
The French Open 2014 is surprisingly successful at the end of the quarter-finals, beating among others the Agnieszka Radwanska.
Tomljanovic gets her first WTA final on February 15, 2015 in Pattaya Open. In the last act she is defeated by Daniela Hantuchova, with a score of 3-6 6-3 6-4.
