Abbey Lee: gorgeous model from Australia

After winning in 2004 the beauty contest Girlfriend Model Search and moved from Melbourne to Sydney, Abbey Lee gets a contract with the fashion Chic Management agency, and appear in advertising campaigns for Gucci, D & G and CK Jeans. The model is also photographed for editorials of various magazines, including V, Numéro, Vogue China, and W, as well as on the covers of Vogue Australia, V and Dazed & Confused. Works among photographers Inez van Lamsweerde, Vinoodh Matadin, Nick Knight, Mario Testino, Steven Meisel and Craig McDean.

She is ranked in fifth place (tied with Karlie Kloss) in the list of Top 50 Top Model, drawn up by site. In 2008 she participated in the fashion show of Victoria’s Secret in Miami. During the season the model spring / summer 2009 she received a lot of media attention for being passed out during the parade of Alexander McQueen during Paris Fashion week, officially because of a corset too tight.

In 2009 participates in the New York Fashion Week for parading Philip Lim, Michael Kors, Alexander Wang, Altuzarra, Donna Karan, Jason Wu, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Zac Posen. She opens the parades of Milly by Michelle Smith and closes the Badgley Mischka and Willow ones. In Milan and Paris she is one of the models most requested by designers. In the same year she appears topless with her colleague Catherine McNeil in the editorial August issue of Vogue Australia, which celebrates the fiftieth anniversary of the magazine. On November 19, participates in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, walking for the Pink line of the famous American brand. Appears in the autumn issue of the i-D magazine. In December she participates, along with other colleagues, in a particular editorial in Italian Vogue dedicated to the microblogging platform Twitter: photos, by Steven Meisel, are taken in low quality to emulate the posts of users of the popular social networks.

Participates (along with Freja Beha Erichsen) to advertising Chanel autumn / winter 2010-2011 campaign, and also become the face of Versace advertising campaigns and the perfume Flora by Gucci and Fendi Fan. In 2010 and 2011 she is one of the protagonists of the Pirelli Calendar, in which pose nude photographed by Terry Richardson. In 2015 she debuted as an actress in the fourth film in the saga of Mad Max, Mad Max: Fury Road, directed by George Miller. In 2016 she is in the cast of Gods of Egypt. Both for Mad Max and Gods in Egypt she plays with the collegue Courtney Eaton.  She is one of the main characters of horror-thriller The Neon Demon, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and presented at the Cannes Film Festival.
