Jun Ji-hyun is a well-known South Korean actress

Jun Ji-hyun attended the faculty of theater and filmography Dongguk University. She began her modeling career in 1997, and, after appearing in several sitcoms, debuted on the big screen in 1999 with the film White Valentine. She was later in the cast of Il Mare (2000), through which she is set to the attention of the general public. Her main role was in the 2001 film My Sassy Girl, a romantic comedy that earned her the victory of the award for “Best Actress” at Daejong Film Festival in 2002. In 2006 she starred in Daisy.

Her modeling career has instead begun to Echo, and has since been chosen by several fashion houses and as a spokesmodel for companies producing mobile phones like Samsung and Apple.

In 2005 was the first Korean artist to appear on the famous fashion magazine ELLE. Jun has also starred in television series My Love from the Star (2013-2014) and The Legend of the Blue Sea (2016). The success of her films and television dramas internationally established her as a top Hallyu star. Other notable films include Windstruck (2004), Blood: The Last Vampire (2009), Snow Flower and the Secret Fan (2011), The Thieves (2012), and Assassination (2015).
