Jasmine Tookes, a black panther for Victoria’s Secret

A fashion designer’s daughter, Jasmine Tookes was discovered while she was at the showroom of her mother. Her first job was as a model with Bruce Weber to 14 years. Under contract with IMG, then worked for Vogue with Steven Meisel and Lachlan Bailey for the American edition, with Giampaolo Sgura for the French and Ellen von Unwerth for the Italian.

Her first advertisements were in 2010 for Ugg and Gap and appeared in the spring of 2011 for DKNY and Vogue Italy. Models.com chose her as one of 10 new top model 27 September 2011 and in November 2011 Style chose her as one of the new top model, based on her work to the spring fashion shows.

In 2012 she was one of the eleven new models for the annual parade of Victoria’s Secret; the show was recorded in November and broadcasted on CBS on December 4. The night before the broadcast of the show, Tookes and other models of Victoria’s Secret Behati Prinsloo and Jacquelyn Jablonski appeared in the episode of 3 December of Hawaii Five-0, “Ha’awe Make Loa”.

The French edition of Vogue chose her as one of its 10 new faces of the week autumn winter fashion 2012 to 2013. Her experiences of parades include Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Prada, Miu Miu and Versace.

In 2015 she was chosen as the testimonial of Calvin Klein Eternity fragrance NOW beside her boyfriend Tobias Sorensen. In the same year she has become one of the new Angels of Victoria’s Secret, although she collaborates with the fashion house since 2012. In 2016 she took part to the spot, made for the Super Bowl, which is recreated in a football game, next to Models Adriana Lima, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk and Alessandra Ambrosio.
