In the early days after arriving in Los Angeles, Jaimie Alexander works as a waitress until she began studying acting with the coach Janet Alhanti, and takes part in some publicity for Clean Clear, Abercrombie & Fitch and McDonald’s.
Her career began in 2003 when she joined the cast of The Other Side in the role of Hanna Thompson, the girlfriend of the protagonist, who suddenly disappears and is then found dead. Initially, she had been called to the hearing to help male actors to interpret the dialogues, but is subsequently hired. The film comes out in theaters four years later. In November 2012, Jaimie Alexander begins to meet with colleague Peter Facinelli, co-starring her with the film Loosies. The couple had already worked together on the set of Nurse Jackie. In March 2015 they announce their engagement, and then finish it in February 2016.
