Ellen Kathleen Pompeo – Meredith Grey of Grey’s Anatomy – is a mother again, for the first time a boy, Eli Cristopher. The news comes a surprise, with a sweet shot shared on social in which the actress’s husband, Chris Ivery, holding the baby in his arms. The couple already have two children, Stella, 7, and Sienna May, 2, arrived via surrogate mother. It’s possible that the third son Eli was conceived through this process, since there are no recent photos of Pompey tending to show a pregnancy.

Her performance is rewarded with several awards: among them, two Satellite Award and a SAG Award between 2006 and 2007 and three People’s Choice Awards: January 7, 2015 wins the prize for Best Actress in a dramatic television series, triumphing also together with the cast of Grey’s Anatomy in the drama series category favored on the web.
