Dannii Minogue during her career worked as a singer, TV presenter, model and designer. She is the youngest of three children: her sister is the singer Kylie Minogue while her brother Brendan (1969) is a cameraman. She was married from 1994 to 1995 with actor Julian McMahon.
In 2008 she participated again as the English version of the jury member of The X-Factor, while at the end of year she published two new songs: a duet with her sister, The Winner Takes It All, covers of ABBA for the soundtrack of the film Beautiful People and More More More.
In November 2009 Dannii makes a surprise to fans by publishing her first two studio albums Love & Kisses and Get Into You in deluxe version, with remixes, b-sides and other rarities. It is then also released a solo album entitled Dannii Minogue: the 1995 sessions comprising 12 tracks recorded in 1995 for the third album ever released. Among the songs it included also the original versions of Everlasting Night and Coconut, the latter then included in Girl.
In January 2010 she proves to be expecting their first child did with model Kris Smith, then born in Australia in July. Dannii was then chosen as the new advertising face for major British stores “Marks and Spencer” in March. In September she comes out in England and Australia’s first official autobiography, My Story.
Also in 2011 she produced another book, this time on the fashion world, entitled My Style which does not want to dictate a fashion but encourage the public to find their own fashion to feel good. The book is a success in the UK. In 2012, she says she wants to wait for a recording comeback because she does not feel ready. In April 2013 confirms that the new X Factor judge Australia by 2013 instead of Mel B.
The July 25, 2013 via Twitter announced the release of a new greatest hits album entitled “This Is It / The very best of Dannii Minogue“, which contains the greatest hits from 1990 to 2009, the duet with her sister Kylie in “The winner It takes it all “by ABBA, and a new single titled ‘Cause you’re beautiful. The compilation comes out August 23, 2013 both in the UK and in Australia under the Warner label.
In late November, after her victory as a judge on X Factor in 2013, brings out a piece on Christmas, Santa Claus is coming to town, in duet with Ronan Keating. 13 December 2013 presents a special on ITV, Channel London, to celebrate 20 years of the boy band Boyzone when even sings Ronan Keating. At the end of 2013 she is at work on a new solo album, the first in ten years.
In 2015, after the success of the single back Summer of Love, presented at Mardi Gras in Australia, returns with the Australian concerts in 2016 where she presented the new song Holding on, still without an official publication.
